The North Face
Lhotse / Short Film / 2019
The North Face tasked Nick Kalisz and Dutch Simpson to document the Lhotse ski expedition with Hilaree Nelson and Jim Morrison to capture the first attempt to ski Lhotse – the world’s 4th highest mountain. The mission was to follow the athletes to the summit, which is just under 28,000 feet, and capture video and photos for the worldwide product launch of Future Light, its brand new fabric technology. What we captured has inspired millions.
